Comprehensive College Planning Services

Leslie provides ongoing consultation and support throughout the college application process. Beginning with a careful assessment of the student's strengths, interests, goals and needs, and including parents' insights, requirements and financial parameters, Leslie develops a college list that matches the characteristics identified by the family. She provides advice on college visits with tips on how to gather information that helps the student narrow the options to find the best fit.

Once work on applications begins...

Leslie provides assistance with every phase of the process including organization, timelines, resume development, essays, applications, interviews and more. Drawing on her training as an English teacher, Leslie helps each student generate ideas and develop essays that show the unique individual behind those grades and test scores. Focusing on audience and purpose, she encourages students to bring their applications to life by revealing individual character, dreams and personalities through their writing.

With Comprehensive College Planning Services, Leslie will be involved as much as you need her - start to finish.

Leslie limits her case load to insure the personal attention your child deserves.

Consultations

Leslie will meet with families who need a general overview of college options and/or assistance with course selection, standardized testing options and summer enrichment opportunities. Consultations are customized to the family's needs and can include a review of testing and transcripts, career assessment or academic planning. Though Leslie may suggest several colleges to investigate, consultations do not include a college list, as this service is more personalized and time intensive.

Leslie is also available to work with students who wish to transfer from one institution to another.

Consultation fees may be applied towards Comprehensive College Planning Services.
